Project Highlight

Product Demo + Operation Training

Combining medical device demonstration with repeatable operation practice.

As medical technologies continue to evolve, traditional medical device training faces several challenges: high hands-on training cost, operational risk, limited equipment availability, and difficulty maintaining consistent training standards.

For specialized medical devices, customers often need to explain product principles, demonstrate functional advantages, and train operators on the full workflow. Static brochures, videos, or one-time on-site demonstrations are often not enough to help users fully understand the device or practice procedures repeatedly.

This project used VR immersion to build a dual-module solution for product demonstration and operation practice. The system recreated a standardized medical scenario and device workflow, helping users understand the product visually, practice key steps safely, and support both training enablement and marketing communication.

Key needs
  • Make product principles and device advantages easier to understand
  • Recreate medical device operation workflows in VR
  • Reduce reliance on repeated physical equipment demonstrations
  • Support low-risk, repeatable operation practice
  • Standardize training steps across users
  • Provide a more intuitive tool for product promotion and user education

DREAM AIR HEADSET + CUSTOM MEDICAL DEVICE SIMULATION + PRODUCT DEMO AND OPERATION TRAINING WORKFLOW

Pimax Business supported the project with a customized VR medical device demo and training system. The solution combined Dream Air headsets, 3D medical device modeling, simulated treatment-room scenes, animated workflow guidance, controller-based interaction, voice prompts, UI instructions, and PC-side remote viewing.

The system was built around two core modules: a product demonstration module for explaining technology principles, device features, and commercial value; and an operation training module for practicing the full device workflow from setup and parameter adjustment to treatment preparation, operation execution, and device reset.
